People with little or no problem do not post on forums, so you tend to read only people who have issues.

Thats true, I only post when I have the with my truck or somebody needs help. The Puma is no worse than any modern vehicle, they all have faults.

Same here - if I think something is going to cause a breakdown I get the vehicle into the dealer - easy for me as they are only 100 yards from my office. Bob |

Amos, the puma had plenty of issues when it first came out and a lot of the guys on this forum have been through a pain barrier but you can rest assured you are now buying a well sorted vehicle. Well I did have a problem but I won't mention that You'll love it and 3 years warranty is always a comfort. |

Mine's one of the first and hasn't broken down (apart from the vacuum pump). Plenty of niggles but less than my previous BMW.
Damn - what have I just said Just as I head out of warranty One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Ours is out of factory warranty but has a years LR Approved Used - not quite as comprehensive but still covers most major parts. Done about 500 miles in it so far and all good.
BM also out of warranty (335d Touring) but the car appears to be bulletproof. I refuse to get out an "insured warranty" for it (or the LR once it's out of warranty) as they are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I cannot believe how many people fall for them. IMO if you have a car and can't afford to fix it, you shouldn't have it. Insured warranties just fleece those who buy cars on the never never. Random rantlet over. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |
