Throw a post in here: Our friendly bunch usually have something up their sleeves. I know we have a resident b&B owner but they are a little further across in Mungrisdale.

Try Martindales Guest House on Sandes Avenue in Kendal - comfortable, not expensive and friendly. Plenty of pubs in Kendal although not like the "good ole days"!!!
The Castle Green is a decent hotel with plenty of parking but possibly not the cheapest. A little further out there's the Punch Bowl at Underbarrow - I think they still do accomodation. Good bunch of locals to get on with to boot!! If you can be more specific about your requirements I'll give you some more ideas - especially location. |

Great stuff, thanks for the tips.
Such a large area to cover, I'm doing 2 days Greenlanes with a group of friends with routes starting between Kendal and Bowness. A few will probably camp just down the road from Kendal, so I'm trying to find a reasonably priced hotel/B&B for around 4 couples... thanks again |
