Ireland 2008 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Alaska White
Newbie with too many toys.
Good morning and a belated Happy St. Patrick's Day.

I've been driving repairing and rebuilding defenders for over 20 yrs now, everything from a 200tdi to today's Puma. I enjoyed the comfort of a LR3 for 6 yrs.

Started out with Lightweights, one was a 24v petrol converted back to a 12v diesel by myself at 16yrs of age, top speed of 40 mph.

I've had numerous defenders, 90's, 110's, and 130's, and I have to say the Puma ticks all my boxes. Ive currently a 130 hi cap as a everyday driver.

Once upon a time before the ring when on the finger I used to race comp safari's and Hillbillys in a Bowler Tomcat and a 3M, the bowler still sitting in the shed.

My pride and joy is a 1986 110 hard top which is a original 3.5ltr v8 restored, used as my wedding car but unfortunately I just don't have the time to drive it.

On the way hopefully is a 110 Puma xs utility but something has to go, the 110 is up for grabs.

How have you done the side lockers? They look quite neat.

Hello,

That's how I bought the vehicle, there was instrumentation inside both lockers.

It would make a nice camper conversation for someone. I'd hoped to do that myself but I can't justify having the vehicle any longer.
