"A DRIVER had a miraculous escape after a car was crushed beneath a trailer full of sheep during a three-vehicle crash.

"How no-one was killed is astonishing" said one member of the ambulance crew following the crash on the A49 near the Toyota Garage at Callow in Herefordshire at just before 9.20am this morning (Wednesday)."

Personally I wouldn't have described that car as "crushed", but then I am not a journo with stories to sell. The car looks remakably intact.

I hope the sheep were OK.

I don't know, but the car on the left of shot in the second photo is looking pretty short. 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone
2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW

Ah right - typical journalists Rolling Eyes

The BMW has got away lightly - it's the Civic that's not really in the photos where the injuries were sustained.

Hope it's a speedy recovery for everyone concerned - shame "several" sheep had to lose their lived though.
