Your Sankey is a Mk1 narrow track and has a rotating lunette, so you should tow it with a pintle that does not rotate.
In theory therefore you could use a fixed pintle, but you'd be better off with standard rotating one and keeping the locking catch locked when towing. The rotating type is more common second-hand anyway, since it what the UK armed forces use. |

I've got a original NATO hitch, as its original it can be locked, so not rotate, or unlocked. It's in full working condition.

Yep, you can lock that so it doesn't move as your trailer side door.
