Thank you all for the replys.

I dont have any carpets in mine. I just have rubber covering the seat boxes and foot wells in the front, a strip of rubber in the middle foot well and back loading area. The rear wheel archs/boxes dont have any covering on them either.
Good to know I have the new traction control though. Cant wait to test it.

When insuring the reclassified commercial Defender just be sure to tell your insurance company that this is the case.Tell them it will be taxed at the lower commercial rate. They may still insure it under a private policy but some may not. Some may want you to take out a commercial policy which is more expensive. Some private policies exclude cover while driving a commercially taxed vehicle. Better to be save. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

United Kingdom 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green
SA vehicles are different to UK spec ones,so you cant compare the two. 2.4 90 XS
