Crikey Red Dot, must have been a tough time. And last night difficult to watch. I never experienced the Country's outpouring and shock as I was travelling in India. Stunned when I first heard about it on reaching civilisation some time later, but never really understood the detail or the magnitude until last night. The black and white class photo was particularly moving. Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Truly shocking - but even harder to comprehend that the US has events like this on a regular basis...

I'm watching the programme later this evening.
I was in Dunblane the day before visiting a friend, not that that is particularly important. On the day itself I was working in the workshop of a garage in Perth with Radio Tay playing on the radio as usual. Usual, what a word, when the news broke 'usual' ceased! The usual mellay stopped as everyone listened intently for every snippet of news while the workforce struggled to maintain their workrate. We were in shock, disbelief that this was happening, that it was happening in Scotland but in Dunblane! How was that possible! After all this was only 20-30 miles away on the A9. It took quite a while for our thoughts to get back to normal but we all knew that for the families in Dunblane there would never be a 'normal'! My heart goes out to Red-Dot, I hope this anniversary can be something positive for you and yours both past and present. |
