Click image to enlarge This is a dog guard that I bought from Chris at CSK who had removed it from a customer's vehicle. It apparently came from a Puma 110 and I see no reason to doubt it. I would suppose it would fit in any 110 SW. It is constructed from steel tube, powder coated. The finish is good but has been rubbed off in some places - it is not peeling off due to corrosion. It is in 2 parts - a main tubular "strength" section and a rivetted-on mesh. The main section is constructed from 30mm tube, and has all welded joints. The bases of the tubes are all plastic capped. It is a substantial construction. It has 2 upper captive nuts and brackets supplied. Just above the wheel boxes there are 2 captive threaded brackets and corresponding "L" brackets to go with. It's more like a roll bar than dog guard, to be honest. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The mesh section I have un-riveted to make it easier to fit. It is edged in "U" section steel and again painted. The finish is good. It rivets on using welded on tabs on the mesh section and can be easily refitted. Click image to enlarge In order to fit it I suspect it will need some top brackets fabricating, but as I was attempting to fit it in a different way than was originally intended I can't be sure. Either way it's a couple of brackets, so no big deal. It is obviously an awkward one to ship, although I am happy to do so at your cost, or it can be collected from SN9 6DF, just north of Amesbury in Wiltshire. I am asking £40 which is what I originally paid Chris for it. If you're looking for a sturdy dog guard, you won't be disappointed! |

If I understand correctly I think the utility is the same body as the SW, it just has solid side panels instead of windows. In this case yes I am as sure as I can be that it will fit. You will still need to fabricate the top brackets but this will depend on exactly what position you want to locate it.
Feel free to come down and try it for size then decide. PM me for contact details. I am working from home this week so can be flexible on times. |
