I've seen a small diameter piece of tube fitted to that pipe to direct any leaks below the starter motor as it can be a good way to chuff it up if it leaks.....

Excellent, power of the search tells me I don't need to worry about the same thing I was wondering if the old one has snapped off or something.
That bottom knut is a sod to get to, no way of getting my torque wrench on there, was barely able to get a flexible bar onto it. Still a run round the block and there's no massive flood of fuel coming out, so I guess its acceptably tight. Did anyone else's fuel pump sound different (with the engine off, ignition on) after going through the bleed procedure? |
