Inane Friday night question!
This may sound daft to all of you but if I buy a V8 lightweight can I transpose my series 3 bits on to it??

Thanks

You want to take the V8 out and return it to 2286cc?

That should work, engine and drive line are essentially the same on a lightweight.

Why buy a lightweight? if you want compatibility to your series three bits buy a series 3 and save yourself some cash!
The bulkhead differs so wings and door bottoms won't work, the rear tub is one piece, I guess you can swap the door tops and windscreen though......
