You want to take the V8 out and return it to 2286cc?
That should work, engine and drive line are essentially the same on a lightweight. |

Apologies guys not making myself clear, If I buy lightweight can I bolt on my series 3 panels?

Why buy a lightweight? if you want compatibility to your series three bits buy a series 3 and save yourself some cash!
The bulkhead differs so wings and door bottoms won't work, the rear tub is one piece, I guess you can swap the door tops and windscreen though...... |
