Depends what you want to do with it.
Electric dampers: Are you looking to lift it? Gain articulation? or make it stay flatter on the road? I ask because really, any uprating of roll bars is going to limit axle articulation and subsequently off road performance will be affected. Do you want a locking diff? Or just a stronger open/limited slip diff? |

I spend more time on road than off road. Looking for the best option for both.

I've heard that the difference between modes on the electronic bilsteins is too great, really choppy when in sport and too soft when in comfort mode.
I haven't had any experience with with them just what I heard. Apparently they are working on a road biased setup with different rates... 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

I had these - the ride was far too choppy for me on the road. I doubt the set up would be at all satisfactory off road. I took them off after 6 months.

I think I might go with Old Man Emu shocks and stiffer anti roll bars. Is anyone els using a similar set up. Not sure about springs

best set up i used is the alive one on there demonstrator 90 while it was still in prototyping..
they were looking into doing springs for a 110, it was a set up of bilstein b6's, uprated anti roll bars and comfort springs.. my truck has the same but sports springs, it is slightly choppy at lower speeds but excellent at cornering and at higher speeds. give them a call.. |
