Crew Cab Rear Seats
My 2014 crew cab had its rear seats bolted to the back of the cab, as I see from an old thread seems to be standard, again I see people have just unbolted them and used the already fitted normal seat locking mechanism to hold them upright but allowing access to the back of them. Has it caused anyone any problems? Should I bolt them back?

Had to unbolt them originally as previous owner had drilled a hole through to the tub and water sloshed in!

I tried that when I still had normal seats in the back. Not enough room for the rear to lock.
I changed it for a custom made seat base and got two front seats from someone to fit in the back. Much more room now!

I unbolted mine and removed the brackets off the rear bulkhead. Seats then sit a tiny bit more aft and lock in place just fine. You can then fold the tops forwards and there's a fabric strap that you pull to release the bottom and it all folds forwards towards the front seat Thumbs Up

That's where I made my custom sub enclosure so nice and discreet!
