Owners warned of gangs stripping parts for eastern Europe
"Gangs of thieves are stripping parts from Land Rover Defenders across the West and shipping them out within hours to eastern Europe, police have warned.
And the phenomenon – which also includes the thieves stealing the entire vehicle – is growing after the last of the iconic 4x4 workhorse vehicles rolled off the production lines at the end of January.
The vehicles, which have been the most popular off-road vehicles in the countryside since they were first made some 33 years ago, are easy to take apart without a key, and many 'Landy' drivers are discovering doors, wings, bonnets and engine parts missing.
Security experts and police chiefs are warning that the value of parts will only increase after Jaguar Land Rover ceased production a few weeks ago."

Then this ever going to stop, then we police the UK borders search all on the way in and all way out, every truck, container and ship and so on and thieving scum too
