Hi there,
I am starting from scratch again for a leak on my front driver side which comes between the liner and the door seal. In the past I have used Dominion sure seal which has worked on the passenger side... I want to try the Sikaflex this time as everyone here seems to recommend it. Which version do people prefer? I assume it's something non permanent that can be removed if required? Thanks a lot. 1999 Defender 110 2003 P38 2007 RR SC "And that's why it needs to be celebrated, because when the Defender goes we'll have lost this pointer to where we came from, and we're really going to miss it." I asked the same question about a month ago.
Sikaflex 291 or 292 are the two most recommended. They appear to be paintable. Not certain on how removable and are relatively expensive compared to the dominion brands you are used to ( I really like the dominion seam sealer when I restored a jaguar many years ago) I've yet to find a local source for sikaflex near me so not yet able to provide any feedback.
