just an L shaped metal plate with fixed with 4 screws into the instrument cluster plinth. To be honest by far better than the cubby position. Puma 110" SW

United Kingdom 2006 Defender 110 Td5 SW Epsom Green
I fitted mine right in the back corner of the rear tub on my 110, right by the tail ights.

I then cut out some aluminium sheet then (For a few beers) got Andy @ Allisport to TIG it all together for me.

Then got it powder coated, and with some self tappers into a suitable bracket, it fits a treat and is pretty tough.
