NANOCOM help/advice
ok NANOCOM arrived today! great, all codes installed and up and running, one of the first things im looking to check is the interior light smart settings on the 10AS module but...... the nanocom cant communicate with the 10AS module, firstly i get a long "working" notice followed by ERROR "unable to start communications with the ecu" all other functions of the nanocom seem to be ok, although i did notice that it wouldn't let me change the tyre size ... again an ecu communication error?
second thoughts i seem to remember that you cant write to a defender tdci ecu...is that right? that would explain why i cant change the tyre size.

so mainly the not communication with the 10AS module is my issue at the moment, my smart interior light has stopped working a wile ago so it might be a 10AS issue? is it fused or.....anything?
anyone have any ideas?

so some further items that im wondering if they are correct or not, when im looking at the live engine data, and inputs im not geting what i would expect to see ( im assuming these inputs are live and should change as the value of said input changes?)im getting the following

alternator lamp - ON (should this be saying its on?? i have no alternator warning lamp on?
Crank reference fault - ON!??
water in fuel - ON!!??
A/C request - OFF even when i turn the A/C on??
A/C pressure high- ON
A/C clutch - ON
Ignition status - OFF (even tho the engine is running)?
Starter motor enable - ON even thos the engine is started and running.
Brake light input -OFF and brake light - OFF even when i push the brake pedal and the rear brake lights are on, or the handbrake light is on.
its hshowing my coolant temp as -40
and my inlet air temp as -28!!
and lastly its showing my fuel tank volume as 0 zero.

im getting concerned as the dealer managed to put a dead short across my battery at the begining of the week which caused a small fire (in their words) its all fixed and i have no evidence of any problems except im not wondering if they have damaged something, or in fact these weird readings are just the nanocom not doing its job properly? im stuck and concerned at the same time.

Does anyone have a tdci 2.2 puma in Taunton that wants me to hook a nano com up to so we can compare readings? or even better does anyone locally have nanocom and experience with it?
