Defendoor securing tether
Venomator on here deserves the credit for the idea on this one.
In case you missed the thread here it is a tether to secure the Defendoor fuel recess cover from being left behind, lost or easily pinched.
If you've got the new style fuel cap with the plastic fuel cap tether you only need one of these. If not then buy two and it'll do the same job.

I thought I would share the link to the tether because the price is so exceptionally low and for a limited time on eBay.

Be quick on this one, offer won't last long. Thumbs Up

There are other Ebay vendors who are much cheaper - I did find a pack of 5 for £1.29 or thereabouts.

I did wonder that, all to the better then just thought I would share what I found.
There are so many adds on there, that it's difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Sometimes you find cheaper but cheaper lower delivery which takes longer.

Yes, and the cheap ones are from China, Hong Kong, and other such famous centres of engineering excellence! One wonders if the 3M adhesive pads actually came from 3M.

Personally I didn't opt for the cheapest.

Oh yes, I don't order from those adds from there for that very reason.
The 3M adhesive is the attractant in the first place, they know that so you could well be right.

You could use Amazon I suppose but they are little different. I don't think either pays their taxes. Laughing
