2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green
Waited 3 weeks for a "special tool" from SPX (cost £6 apparently) to adjust/align the gear linkage. Has made a marginal difference, but is still like changing gear with a bag of spanners. I can only assume that white van man (Transit) isn't very fussy. Maybe I was lucky, but my R380 gearbox was very good. I'm guessing that the Puma gearbox must have some sort of remote linkage.

Guy Salmons mucked about with my linkage too, and now I have to play 'Hunt third gear'!
It's perfectly obvious that mine is a synchro problem.
