Anybody used Barretts Canterbury?
Hi guys,

Has anybody used Barretts of Canterbury before?

My confidence in Harwoods Tonbridge has dropped off recently as they have been sold to Jardine who I haven't really heard of before and some very slow responses to emails. Plus the 44 mile journey seems a bit silly when there is a local dealership.

Any thoughts welcome Very Happy Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Never been to Barratts Canterbury, but never been that impressed with Barratts at Ashford. But it was a few years back now.

What about using an independent instead ?

I try to use RCV in Staplehurst as much as I can but they are often booked out for ages and can take a while to get into there workshops. They are massively knowledgeable and really good guys but mainly focused on selling Defenders rather than Servicing them.

Any indi reconsiderations near Canterbury then? Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Yes, RCV at Staplehurst and East Peckham are good.

You could try:

AHL Engineering
Bramley Knole Farm
Eastwood Road
Maidstone
ME17 1ET
Tel 01622 851121

Brothers run it, Angus and Howard.

Again usually well booked up, but nice guys. Might be worth a try?

Also I thought there was a 4 x 4 place at Chartham Hatch ?..., but I've never used them. So I don't know what they're called or if any good?

......Found it now!:
