I like that. Was it a CSW or hard top conversion? What base spec? Rich

Hi Rich
It started off as an almost new truck cab which I sourced and I had it professionally converted for a famous chap (who will remain nameless) to his spec as a summer toy. He wanted a base spec so that it could potentially get wet inside when the roof was off. Its absolutely great and a proper Landy with no added bling just practical extras. He never used it (literally once in two years) so I bought it back, changed the oil and filter and checked everything over. All good. I love it but I feel a 110 is better suited for our family needs. It is still very tight with absolutely no clutch/gearbox woes. It feels very smooth as one would expect. If I was to keep it, which I`m tempted do, I would remove the rear seats for more space and they have a habit of rattling slightly. I would possibly put a side hinged rear tailgate on but I haven`t touched it as I`m keen to keep it as standard as possible. I think the Keswick green with sand coloured hood is a great combination. The black mesh top was on loan as I was trying it out. It`s great so I have ordered one due to arrive in January and would be sent on. I found that even when the temp is around 5 degrees you still stay warm only with the top section on as the heater is so efficient. I really want to keep the mileage ultra low but its so tempting to drive as its such good fun. PM me if anyone has any more questions. Similar but not his..no white bits and a few other differences...I prefer a more classic understated look. ( no offence Ben) Sib

That is fantastic. Gorgeous. Views which of course are of no use to you except fluffing your ego. Sorry. Wrong side of the road and just the wrong time, otherwise I'd bite your arm off. I might have someone in mind, so will forward the post. Good luck in the meantime. Beautiful barn BTW.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
