"Rapidly expanding automotive retailer Vertu Motors has acquired the business and assets of Bury Land Rover in Lancashire and has also exchanged contracts to acquire the business and assets of Bradford Jaguar in West Yorkshire.
For the year ended 31 December 2014, the management accounts of Bury Land Rover showed revenue of £41m and EBITDA of £1.5m. The acquisition complements the Group’s existing Land Rover dealerships in Nelson, Lancashire and across West Yorkshire and further extends the Farnell brand. The Group already operates the Jaguar franchise in the same territory with a Farnell branded dealership in Bolton." https://bdaily.co.uk/industrials/01-05-201...ion-deals/ |

An old thread I know, but just received my 9 month old Defender back from Farnells in Bury covered in scratches. If you do go there DONT let them wash your car.

Whenever I see the dreaded 'EBITDA' I think - "there's a business I wouldn't want to be a key investment in my pension plan". |
