On a pre-2002 td5 it's a fairly quick easy job to change the park switch - I would imagine the post 2002 would be the same:
You need to remove the bottom of the dash on the lefthand side - undo the 4 screws holding it on. The park switch is then pretty obvious on the side of the motor.. [:O|===|O:] 2001 110 TD5 Doublecab |

On the post 2002 dash the motor is housed a little higher up in the dash than the earlier models so a little harder to get at. Pete. |
