Hi All, I have got a June 2009 110. Its now done 15,800 miles and has been perfect except the rear diff seal has been replaced at 3,200 miles and at 9,000 miles. It is now leaking again !!!
What should I do?. Book it in for another seal change and hope that it will last forever or do I ask for a new rear diff. When the warranty runs out I don't want to be replacing the seal every six months. Any thoughts or advice would be welcome. Mick Clark. |

My '07 needed a new one fairly early on. As well as a new seal I'd ask for a new flange too as perhaps it's the machined surface on this that's making your deal fail. Steve.

x2. Very often worth replacing the pinion at the same time as the seal. Ask to see how much play there is on the pinion bearings - there should be a minute amount - any more, I'd get a new diff on warranty. My blog - www.anacreinhampshire.blogspot.co.uk

Thanks for your replies. I will have a word with the dealer when I book it in.
