As above all the tow equipment is Safari Equipment, provided by 4x4overlander aka Leeds on here (Brendan) couldn't be happier with service and products and price Thumbs Up

As for Dinitrol, will be using Rustmaster (Knutsford) - very happy with the work they did on the 90 we have! Very thorough and offer 3yr guarantee with free 'top-up' annually if any has come off. Cheers, David

Yeah, to be honest I think a large part of it is that silver doesn't photograph too well whereas black does even when it's dirty.

However in the flesh the silver looks fantastic, and black must be clean to look good.

But if I didn't get silver I'd have got black again, love them both. Cheers, David

front badge fitted Thumbs Up

Used an old grille badge and some superglue to make a tidy, solid, removable way of mounting the front badge....

(Sorry it was dark when I fitted it!)

Will pop a couple of rivets in just to fill the holes and finish it off. Sits very flush to the grille which I'm happy about

Also gave the 110 and its stable-mate a good clean, wheels & wax to follow.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Love them both! Incredible how different 'characters' the two have, despite being same age, engine, spec etc etc. Cheers, David

Very true, can't agree more. For me the 110 is more of a cruiser, a comfy (in a Defender sense of course) explorer, gives me a sense of presence on/off the roads, just finding it a pleasure to be in (I know lots of people driving better quality cars won't agree Very Happy). The 90 is so nippy and perky, moves around so much easier, great fun to be in, makes me smile a lot!

So you said the 110 won't see much water - are you planning to use the 90 for offroading then? That's very nice white wolfs that are on btw. MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

The 110 is mine, and the 90 is the family "sunny day" car. Lives in garage etc and only done 100 miles so far! Will get some more use in summer etc Smile

The 110 will be used for everything really, but we have a series 3 for launching boats and really muddy stuff! All cars have been professionally dinitrolled too though!

I'm sure once the 110's 'newness' wears off I'll start to use it for a bit more mucky stuff! Cheers, David
