24k warranty query

Hi all...

Might seem a daft question, but I'm trying to toe the line regarding service intervals.

I just noticed that the sticker from the garage to remind me of my 24k service states that it should take place at... 21500 miles, or prior to 21/04/2011. I was expecting it to be... well, at 24K. It kind of caught me off guard.

The date I can somewhat understand, but certainly the 24k service should take place at... 24k miles, not 21k and change, no?

I think it's every 12,000 miles or eerything 12 months, but whichever comes first. Even if you do 1,000 miles a year they'd suggest it be serviced every 12 months.

Ah, OK - that makes sense. Doh!

I had the first service carried out a bit earlier than the standard figure, so they just added 12K to that.
