not sure if your 90 is new or second hand, but remember that pre-2015 and post-2015 vehicles have different steering columns and require different adapters. Cheers, David

Thank you David, I did not know that, it's due for delivery from factory end of Jan so it'll be on a '65 plate.

My favourite is the Startech

Having had a look at some Momo steering wheels, I ended up going for a Startech. Amazing quality and feel. For added security I got it with the Snap Off boss attachment. When I park the car, I take my steering wheel with me. I got mine from the gents at FCX:

The Startech wheel in my opinion is by far the best steering wheel, however I'm still saving as it is very expensive.

Just thought I'd put my two penneth in for what it's worth. Moto Lita wheels look great on classic cars as do Momo's on certain sports cars but I'm afraid IMHO they just look like boy racer bolt on goodies on the Defender and don't suit the vehicle. For me the only one that suits and improves the look of the interior of the Defender is the Startech wheel and when coupled to the quick release boss seems to make a lot of sense. The only downside is the price but having said that if I was going to change my bus drivers wheel it would have to be the Startech

Agree with you completely Discomog, I wonder if its possible to get that Startech wheel without the embossed logo on it!?

4x4 Overlander supply the Startech steering wheel and currently have silver and black stitching versions on our shelves. Must admit they have been quite popular with the more discerning Defender owner.
We can get various other options done to special order. Without the Startech logo embossed in? I can ask next week, however it might take some time to get a definitive answer. If possible this would be a special order and it would be money with order I am afraid. Brendan |

No harm in asking @jbk - they can be quite accomodating...

Brendan, as nice as it is as standard I'd definitely like to know whether you can do that wheel without the embossed ST logo. Perhaps if you could ask the Q, post the answer on here and I'll PM you if i'd like to commit to an order.
Hmm, Venomator, nice taste in motor there, I've got an 90HTXS in Santorini black arriving in 3 weeks, but really i yearn for a Keswick one just like yours, but I can't find the right spec! Did you feel the that black was just a bit too smart and you wanted to get the car 'back to its roots' a bit!? |

When I changed mine there was only one choice and I am glad I did, when I finally got my hands on a Momo wheel it felt really cheap compared to the Startech.
