The 100% way is to get a paint shop to use a light gun and look up the paint code ... Mine is a nor quite right bonatti grey ... In reality it's a GM paint that's been badly applied

You should have a paint code on your vin plate, then you can cross reference it with this..

Download a rave for land rover from here. Put it in a virtual drive and set your computer date at the date off the file. 2004 is probably Zambezi, if I remember correctly Zermatt didn't come in until later (2006/7)

I think my old 90 was Zermatt, that was 04, as I assumed it was Zambezi.

My 06 td5 90 is Zambezi. Paint code is shaped on the vin just have a look at that to confirm.

Dan will also be able to tell you the colour from the VIN number, it's in the build spec.
You should also be able to plug the VIN into the JLR TOPIX site and get the colour back: https://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/index If you don't want to faff with registering etc PM me your VIN  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
