Clutch pedal assist kit

Does anyone have any experience of using or fitting one these

the pedal is quite heavy in my 200 and I thought it might be worth a try and maybe not too difficult to fit? Rob

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Montalcino Red

I think on a 200 Tdi you will need a complete Td5/Puma pedal as the spring kit does not fit the earlier pedal.

I might be wrong though!

I have changed the soft top's pedal assembly, it was originally a TD.

Put one in my td5, much nice than the stock long spring. Pedal movement feels a bit odd at is kind of has a deadband at the bottom of its travel, but overall a vast improvement

I did it on my TD5 and the main hard part was removing the moulded floor covering as it is so stiff.

As Martin says, you'll need to check if it's even something you can do on a 200Tdi. 2016 D4 HSE

The clutch pedal assembly was not badly priced as a new part last year, it's tripled in price since then

You'll probably pick up a second hand one OK.

hmmm I'm glad I asked. The Paddocks description says it will fit all 90's however I've found an ebay listing for the genuine part number which says will only fit late 200tdi onwards from VIN LA939892 and mine is LA931*** so I'm assuming it won't fit
