There is no shortage of folk happy to borrow money they can't afford to buy things they don't need to try to impress people they don't know. Something like that.....

There are 90s for sale in Aussie at 80%, & even approaching 100% over original "new" price.
Never seen anything like it. Pickles. |

I dont quite understand it myself.
A friend of mine who works at Specialist cars in Aberdeen was saying they are selling lots of new Audi's, back in March / April time. quite a large mix of cars all the way up to R8's. I asked him what the predominate deal was and it was a anything with a lease type of arrangement ranging from £300 to £500 per month. I'm still gobsmacked that anybody is buying cars in Aberdeen just now as the oil and gas industry is on its knees just now. Companies are still shedding jobs. The company I work for, just announced a 30% reduction in staff to be completed in next 3 months (they reduced the staff last year by 30%). If you meet a friend in Aberdeen just now the first question is "Are you working?". Its pretty brutal just now... Cheers Andy |

£130 million in tax revenue for the 2015 year... 2016 has already been flagged as a loss making year... Not sure how Brexit effects this, other than to say it's more expensive for the UK consumer...

Well I had dinner with a few friends last night and they were telling me it was a case that a lot of people were taking out new deals for new cars with no cost increase in the lease payments! Russell
