So meeting new people and exploring new places is what "overlanding" is all about??
Not for me. You can do both of those just as easily on a package tour to Marrakesh. For me it is far more about the journey from A to B and everything in between. It is as much about the people you travel with as the ones you meet along the way. It is putting yourself into situations that are unfamiliar and outside of your daily comfort zone and dealing with them. It is waking up to a different view in a different climate/vegetation/culture every day |

For me is enjoy the trip to the destination instead the destination only that could be also nice
That includes new friends that you do in the road, the landscape, the sitiatuin, the culture, etc. You can have also all of this in your destination, but in the overland you add the other part that can be even more interesting than the destination.
