[For Sale] retro rostyle wheels x5
so, I have a set of 5

8" wide rostyle wheels

These are very special,
start buy buying a set of 5 genuine landrover rostyles, have them professionally banded (cost about £70 a rim)
then powder coated more money i the unique wheels than a set of sawtooths cost ! Go on - be different !!

I've got

these are 8" wide with good offset, I had them powder coated in limestone last sept, over the winter some discolouration / rust has just started to come through ( not due to wheels as such, but due to powder coat job)

4 were fitted, one lived i the garage

pics of them fitted to my defender

for sale is set of 5 rims only, ideally they want re-powdercoating, or spraying, or use as they are if you are not fussy

collection from nottingham/mansfield

£350

they look good. who did the banding and is there any guarantee / paperwork with them

I know what banding is and seen it done on porsche fuchs alloys, just its obviously a mission critical component of the car !

also are they now tubeless as I understoof rostyles were tubed

thanks Dan

they were done by a company that specializes in it

they are pressure tested as part of the process

I've run them tubeless, and never had ANY problems in doing so

Cozz,

I did get your PM but spent all yesterday up in Sheffield moving my lad out of uni halls and into a house so didn't read it until late last night......I couldn't do anything about it.

Censored , exactly what I wanted but missed out.

Thanks anyway.

Sorry Lacy. Cozz gave me first refusal weeks ago, though I dragged my feet a little.

Thanks Cozz.

No problem Greeni. There are lots more important things to worry about!
