As it has been getting a bit cool in the morning, I 've popped on the heat...ooops antifreeze smell ( sweet syrup like)
anyone have the same or am I looking at a heater core issue? I haven't seen anything under the hood to lead me to believe this... Cheers John[/u] 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately) IN the hunt for another Puma for the wifey! 2008 Kia Sorento LX 😁 2.5crdi |

Is the expansion tank screw top tight?
Although you can't see a leak, it might have moisture with A'Freeze smell in the enginne compartment transferring to the cabin. Otherwise, any leaks in and around the heater matrix and corresponding hoses! good luck El pepe flamenco JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

so, I just pulled up the carpet on the drivers side and found a bunch of fluid...this all came about when I came home yesterday and noticed dripping. looks like I am in for a heater core... 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately)
