Hi guys
I kept these as thought I could fit them to my G-wagen. sadly I cant as need the version with sidelight built in (which I had a pair of and sold with the 110 to keep these!)
Anyway this is a very good condition pair of chrome 8700 evo's for Right hand drive cars. complete with stainless defender Bezels £--- delivered to mainland UK. Grab a bargain for the new year Thumbs Up

Also....free bump.

absolutely love it, wont be back in a defender for a while I dont reckon, I bought an older one in the end as was a RHD japanese import. Better underneath than most defenders at the dealer! quality really is fantastic. Only down side are parts ive been getting are all brought over from Germany, so takes a little while but the exchange rate means parts are on par with range rover bits Thumbs Up

Currently looks nothing like that though as all stripped ready for new wheels, front end and bumpers back from the painters, plus some other toys as still like altering my cars Laughing

Apologies if this is going off topic ST.

Some G Wagons have a warning light for when headlight bulbs are not working. Will not comment on the other warning system which all drivers should have!

Fitting LED headlights can trigger the warning light and can land up fooling the onboard computers. May have to land up clearing error messages off the computer

If your G Wagon has this system on board then you may have to fit inline resistors to fool the headlight bulb failure system.

Bet you did not expect G Wagon advice on a Defender for sales board Razz

Haha thanks Brendan
I'll remember that as will still fit Led lights to it but just with sidelights built in as dont want to put separate ones on really.
Thumbs Up

Very pleased with it on the whole, haven't really got anywhere im updating other than the G wagen Register, you notice though due to a much smaller following its a lot quieter than here, seems very useful still though. Very Happy

Nothing wrong with a G Wagon, but ya should've bought a G55, an absolute BEAST, side exhausts & massive grunt,......but hey, I gotta tell ya, my budget wouldn't stretch to one!

I'd love one Pickles, but being early 20's in the UK I couldn't stretch to the insurance on one Laughing

Well "Mr V8" here!!....I'm certainly not in my early twenties!!,....so insurance would be the least of my worries!!
Mate, if you're only in your "early twenties", and you're buying a G Wagon, then you're going well.
We bought a new C63 a few years back, so had a bit to do with AMG at the time, which is when I noticed the G55,.....ENORMOUS cost here in Aus!! I read an article where a few, and possibly the later G63, have been made in a 6x6 configuration by AMG for the Arabs, for stupid money,......but they are apparently completely unstoppable in the Sand dunes!!......and VERY fast.

Haha Cheers Pickles (mr ls3 Laughing )Ive got through a few cars so far! One day id love a proper amg. This is the 300 petrol tuned by amg so has a bit of go and would leave my tuned td5, although certainly not rapid still and not a true one!
One of my best mates has a c63 so ive had the pleasure of being a passenger many times.
Back on topic though as will get a life time ban if I keep singing the praises of mercedes on here have a great New year and 2016. Im sure another Defender will join our family soon enough again (hopefully keswick green) Thumbs Up

No worries.
Another Defender,....can't see that happening. Gracie has been & is, all that we would want in a Defender, and as ya can't buy another new one, I reckon that'll be it for us.......although,....... if an immaculate totally original low mileage 50th (V8!!) were to appear on our shores, well ya never know!!
Regards, Pickles.
