That sounds like a good idea, again nice to meet you all, although I went and had a cup of tea and upon my return most had left I must change that deodorant as it has that effect. ...
Anyway thanks for organising Steve |

It was great to meet all of you nice people and if I get some spare time soon I would like to try and arrange a day or two in Salisbury Plains for those who like to get a bit muddy
Cheers Steve |

We both enjoyed what was our first landrover meet this morning. It was good to meet up with you all and have a chat and look at other defenders. It's given me a few more ideas of things to do to mine
Look forward to the next one. Dave & Rachel. |

A great morning indeed, thanks to John for jacking it up.
There is a pub in Cobham called the Fairmile, the D3 team used to hold meets there years ago, the landlord was very tame and would let them use the function room, the thing is I'm not sure he's still there, so I'll go on a recon mission this week and report back when I sober up. Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |

Sorry for the delay in posting, but that's owning your own business for you. Been on a recce of the Fairmile in Cobham, the food is not too shabby and they are very club friendly, they also have a function room that we could book. So for those not familiar with the area, we are talking about the other end of the A3 to the last Hindhead meet, not a million miles from Brooklands race track. Let's see who is up for this, and I'll book something up, they would prefer the end of the month as the function room is less busy then. Anyway let's get an idea of numbers first.....over to you. Not too sure about hounds being allowed inside, but they do have a large outside area, so we could put this back until a warmer evening? Wes Oh woe, oh woe My crusty old landrover, It will not go. |
