speed limiter
What does a 110 feel like when you hit the speed limiter?

My previous 100" bitsa would get progressively louder and feel more unstable until you ran out of steam, road or courage.

On the 08 Puma, I get to an indicated 130kph and it feels like the wheels are about to fall off - or maybe they are..............

Howdy

Slight thread high-jack!

I've been wondering about the speed limiter for a while... When I finally get round to replacing my TD5 could I ask them to set the vehicle to a ROW spec or is this an absolute no-no?

Cheers

Thumbs Up

No dealer worth their salt would not tick the limiter box for the UK. Can you imagine the legal battle that would ensue should there be an issue. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

You forgot the bit halfway through where it goes to sleep and lets you get to 90 before waking up again

Do the ROW pumas have a different tune.Mine is a ROW but don't know if the tune is different, all that I know that it pulls well.Got it new,has never had a pdi or been to a dealer. It left the UK through a MOD vehicle outlet. Puma 110 SW

While house hunting on a trip here from germany, I got nailed in an 80, probably doing over 100...the bill that came was 180 euros! I was a bit shocked to say the least.
I have no idea how many times my wife and I have been nailed for the 20 or 40 chf fine in the mail. They get you anyway they can here. 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately)
