2014 DEF 90 Tow Wiring Plug
Hi Guys can anyone tell me is this the plug up near the Fog or Blinker wiring for the Towing electronics?
If so where would I order the other end to plug in to the orange plug rather than joining up the bare wires ("insert" i haven't got a clue in auto-electronics)
If not what does it look like Question
Thumbs Up for Suggestions/Links ect…

Plug and play more or less no hard wiring required.
However, you'll need a genuine towing wiring harness. What type are you trying to fit?

This (RAA623) wiring kit came with the Land Rover TowBar but no plug & Play as you call it. Is there a Ref No. for that that plug?

if you dont mind fidling you can feed the cable out though the big hole in the cross member to give you a protected female electrical conector - makes the whole set up look better in my opinion....
Thumbs Up
I used to think that this was for power take off from the engine but have since been told that it is designed for the electrcal connection. As Jomara suggested that was the kit I was meaning.
It's 12N so assuming that is what you want.

Excellent. Thumbs Up

When fitting or working on I'd recommend a small plastic bag with elastic band around or similar over the plug end when your routing the cable, then you don't have to worry about dirt getting in the plug.
Then just whip it off right before plugging into the socket and it'll be perfectly clean with a perfect connection. Mr. Green

2014 DEF 90 Tow Wiring Plug
Ok I only just started to fit the plug & play tow wiring kit on the Defender, yer slack I know Whistle
Is here a trick to fitting the washers & nuts on at the backside of the cross-member?
The hole is rather smallish to fit fingers through easily once the cable goes through it too.
What am I not thinking of to do the job as well, how to keep the nuts tight & won't vibrate off over time.

Well i've tried glueing the nut to the washer then after drying gluing the lot to the backside of the cross-member hmmm nice idea just couldn't get the washer to the cross-member to hold when screw bolt in after drying had to pull the wiring back out to get access to hold the nut so I could remove bolt from it Big Cry
Anyone that has done it want to shed some light on how you did it at all pwwwease
