dixon bate tow bar question

Does anyone have the instructions to fit a dixon bate adjustable tow bar on a tdi 90.
I seam to have a washer between the angle under the x member and the mating face to the drop ladder bit.

I will of followed instructions but would like to check. It was years ago.
