Twisted?
One of the most professional Defender "Builders" that I've read about is Twisted.
If I had the dollars???!!!
I don't see much mention of them on here. Has anyone driven any of their vehicles, especially the LS3 powered 90, or had anything to do with them at all?
Not cheap I know, but I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for", and this company look to provide a superb product.

Re: Twisted?
I saw one in the flesh at Goodwood festival a couple of years ago... A Corris Grey 90, with black roof and tan interior. Was a beautiful looking beastie and probably the clincher for me ordering a defender.

There leagues above the others Pickles
I'd say Twisted, JE and Startech and obviosly land rovers own autobiography do the best jobs.

The quality of the Twisted cars is indeed very good, a chap we know has one and i always have a look at the shows on their stands Smile

I too greatly admire Twisted and just wish they were in my budget!! I spoke with Fellrunner on here who had used them for some mods, spoke very highly of them.

twisted for sure have it just right, not a huge fan of the red edition, but the ultimate 110 was stunning. Far far too many horrendous attempts at the minute by guys trying to make a fancy defender and ask for silly money. Andy

if
I may regret asking this but if you could, what would you have done by twisted to your Defender?

If I had the dollars, I'd be looking at an LS3 with appropriate drivetrain, suspension, brakes etc.

It has been posted before but LS3 power and noise that would drive well but cruises well too. Another class in upgrading Defenders. Hopefully as with most things, buy cheap buy twice.

I like it how they are still developing products for Defender and not swapping to other model ranges which might dilute the brand. They believe in their products and have a brilliant brand. I followed them for ages and they have progressed well.

@mick part of the cost is the full build cars are stripped and re-built to ensure panel alignment etc and no leaks..

im gonna place a large leather order with them early next year as that side is second to none.

I was about to comment it is the strip down and rebuild, aligning panels that would be on my Twisted list. I also just like the look of the Twisted, not too over the top on most.

That's good to know as I know a couple of people with Defenders that have had Defenders from other trimming companies and they still leak and the leather is parting company Shocked
