An intersting and creative idea. Folded down, they provide a bit of protection for the front fender,but the hinges probably create more problems.....
The wondeful(and unique) thing about a Defender is that it has flat wing tops anyway! You dont even need add anything. And here, checkerplate can be justifed, but isnīt even strictly neccessary. There is a vice and some sort of pulley thing on the bumper ?
