Yeah it's an extra grip on the bonnet, an old, dried out, yellowing, brittle, museum piece tyre.
Seeing as I've got Michelin XZL tyres all around, that relic of a bonnet tyre is on the list for replacement. I guess it could become a dog chew that would last longer than a day... |

From the photo, the body panels look really straight. I guess it spent most of its life parked up on standby. What KMs has it done and is the chassis sound? I would keep it pretty much as it is. It has a great aged look to it. EDIT Dohhhh... Just looked at the other photos in the link A little work to do on the chassis and outriggers then. And the panels on the other side are not quite as straight. But still a cool motor. |
