Hi All,
My name is Harry, I work for JLR and live near Banbury. Thought I would put up some pictures of my wife's pride and joy! Bought together but a 300tdi was what she always wanted since she was little. Not her daily driver for commuting but she uses it every other time she can - always brings a big smile to her face. Used for a bit of shooting, farm work, towing, etc. Landy will be going through a big transformation hopefully this year, as we are looking to convert her to a soft top with the Safety Devices 6 point cage and exmoor trim hood - funds permitting as it is a big cost. Plus an exmoor trim 1/2 leather interior upgrade too. We have had her 3 years or so and she had a bit of a body rebuild in January 2016 after a slight mishap on the roads... see pics. Managed to get the rebuild done and re-mot in 3 weeks of doing in on weekday evenings, outside (under tarpaulin, in the freezing cold and by torchlight) and was really proud to be able to get it done in time to take her to the LR last defender production day where we had bring your defender to work day at the JLR plants. Some of the little mods I have done so far - A bar, Dog shelf and drawer unit in boot instead of 2 of the flip seats, dog guards (summer half height and winter full height), black headliner and white roof added at rebuild, Nakatanenga wheel carrier, Stt Pro's last month. All the best, H |

I was going to say harry, My dads is a 200 and his is on a L plate, So basically the L plate is the cross over then. Which would explain why my dads has the axle and brake setup as mine. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Hedge result was due to a fox coming out in the road in front of my wife and swerve, brake, slide and ended up in a ditch. Unfortunately the ditch depth is roughly the length of the wheel base so as the front bumper hit the bottom of the ditch, the rear wheels left the tarmac. Resulting in a very slow flip over the front and onto the roof. Car coming the other way said it was the slowest gentlest accident he has ever seen! Wife was a little shook up but very upset about her Landy. Few weeks later she was delighted to have it back with its fresh 12month MOT. Colour is Ardennes Green. Comes with a cracking history file with original build card etc. It was owned by Solihull plant for the first couple of years so guessing it was a site taxi or security car for a bit. |

I thought it must be ex-Factory, as YAC has been on factory vehicles since at least 1958.
I'm a purist, so would always keep an ex-Factory vehicle original, but of course it is your vehicle. Ardennes Green is a lovely colour. |
