Hi Guys,
I am hopefully moving soon which is all very exciting but as always in life there are some compromises... I am loosing my workshop space I am however getting a secure parking area so its not all bad news. Now, having been a practical sort of chap since before I can remember I have amassed quite a collection of tools and general Land Rover spares and "smelly oily dirty things which are NOT coming into the flat" So what I'm looking for is a big storage locker which I can put said things into and leave locked safe in the knowledge that it will be there when i return. I am thinking something like a van safe like this But a bit bigger and preferably not top opening. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love to get a big set of roller tool boxes but I'm just not convinced how secure they really are even if you bolt them to the floor. What would be your recommendations? I've got a thingy that you're welcome to if you want it, the previous owner had it bolted to the roof rack.
It's about 1m square and have a meter high with split flaps at the back. Both flaps can be locked down. It's reasonably weatherproof but could be better. Free to a good home It's the thing at the top of the picture here: |
