Hi Folks,
I tried to adjust the front swivel pre load on my 08 110 a few weeks ago, but ran out of shims to remove before I could get the required resistance. So off I went and bought new top and bottom bearings, pins, gaskets and shims - same problem.
There was no visible wear in the bearings or seats, the seals dont leak and it doesn't look like anything had ever been apart before.
Do the swivels deform or are the s**tpart pins too short?
