Scotland 2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Zambezi Silver
Wind & Rain
The weather here has been like Armageddon for over 24hrs now and this is on top of very heavy flooding on Thursday night.
Expecting a calf so just waiting for the snow to arrive Big Cry and feeling pretty ground down.

However, just heard about all the folk just down the road in Newcastleton that are being evacuated and put up in the village hall as the river heads towards its peak.

I go out, get soaked through but come in, change and get warmed up. These poor souls don't know when they'll be able to return to their homes or what they might lose whilst all the while listening to the storm reaching its climax outside.

My thoughts really go out to them - so time to man up and realise there are those far worse off than me!!

We were watching the news and weather earlier, looks pretty grim up there Shocked

These things always happen just before Christmas!

Can't help but feel sorry for them Sad 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

its bad up here also . well not as bad as the lowland places . but floods in the usual places . i have been in action taking and picking people up through flooded roads not passable with cars ....wet feet Mr. Green

You near Riccarton Junction then? I was up there back end of the week and came back through Newcastleton, the Liddel Water looked mighty high even then so dread to think what it's like now.

Bad times. Pretty bad in Hawick, Langholm and a good bit of Cumbria too I believe.
