100% of the successful bid will go to Dravet research. Dravet syndrome? What is it? If you are like me and have never heard of it.

Quote:

What is Dravet Syndrome? Dravet syndrome, also known as Severe Myoclonic Epilepsy of Infancy (SMEI), is a rare and catastrophic form of intractable epilepsy that begins in infancy. Initial seizures are most often prolonged events and in the second year of life other seizure types begin to emerge. Development remains on track initially, with plateaus and a progressive decline typically beginning in the second year of life. Individuals with Dravet syndrome face a higher incidence of SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy) and have associated conditions, which also need to be properly treated and managed. - See more at: http://www.dravetfoundation.org/dravet-syn...KaAVY.dpuf

One of the Defender 2 members has a child suffering from Dravets syndrome, so lets support Dravet research
.

Well it just so happens that after collecting my wayward wife from the pub I find myself still up at this silly hour.

So I'll kick this off at: £375.00

Come on now £385 it’s for charity. And win or lose that £5.00 increase goes to Dravet research. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

WOW, what can I say?

The auction has only just started and it is already at a decent value. Thumbs Up Bow down Thumbs Up

Must admit this is the first time we have done this sort of thing so yes I was a little bit anxious about how the bidding would go.

However Defender 2 members are doing sterling well.

A big thank you.

Just remember that 100% of the money raised will go to aid Dravets research.

Many thanks

Brendan

Well Barbara and I are a bit stunned by how generous the bidders have been.

A very big thank you Bow down Bow down Bow down

Now Barbara and I did not fully appreciate how quick the bidding would go and I thought it was best to run the auction over the two weekends.

Now we are thinking of closing this auction tomorrow at midnight.

Does anyone have any objection to this? Especially those people who have been kind enough to bid on this auction!

If anyone has any reasonable objection to us bringing the closure date forward please let us know.
