Lucky Boy
Lucky day at the 'office' today when I popped to see a client who's selling his chalet. As he's leaving the country he is selling the odd bit and bob, and apparently giving away an item or two as well. Here was a little 'stocking filler' he gave me for my efforts so far. The West German Reck, single-action .22 Revolver, plus a batch of ammo. Thumbs Up

But he's also considering selling the following and will give me first dibs. 9mm Sig Sauer P226 X6. Half price and has been upgraded with a picatinny under-barrel laser sight and been 'marinised' by a mate of his who is ex-SF. Also he has a mechanised 9mm ammunition tool plus oodles of casings, powder and bullets and amazingly some hollow point bullets which apparently aren't illegal in France (!?!). Perfect timing for my licence which arrives in the New Year Thumbs Up

Wouldn't give me a discount (or even a chance to buy) his custom, Pete Walker made stalking rifle. Big Cry Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Do not like revolvers in general.

The P226 x6 is quite nice.
I own an original P226, nice tool, but for shooting the old P210 is still the Rolls Royce

Nor me. I spend 2 hours trying to get into a hotel once. Did you know the first building with a revolving door was the Empire State Building?

Censored

To put it bluntly....

As far as Cham is concerned, so limp rain today, then sun for the next week with daytime temps floating around 6c-9c. What came on the big dump two weeks ago is disappearing fast. Mate went touring yesterday and he said it was sugary and patchy. However, whatever it's doing now, it normally pulls itself together at in Les Arcs, being above 2000m you should have more than enough mid-Jan. Thumbs Up

Let me know your dates, I'll try and pop over and say hi. But if a 'month' means between 12th and 19th of Jan, I'm afraid I have to head to NZ for a wedding..... Monsieur Le Grenadier
