As requested here is the dash of the 1952 series one

For those interested and with eagle eyes you may spot a small metal switch coming from below the trafficator toggle just below the centre of the screen. We put this in ( Russel Hearne put this in..) to serve a useful purpose.
In one position when I indicate both the trafficators and the small bulbs work. In the other position just the bulbs work....particularly useful when the screen is folded down onto the bonnet and trafficators can't return back into their slots with gravity..

I often drive with the screen down and sunglasses on...it doesn't get better. She doesn't go fast enough to let bugs in teeth be an issue Sib

Interesting solution to the traficators, Ive fitted some to mine, but never too sure how to go about wiring them.
Having them switchable is a good solution to the screen down sinario. Thumbs Up

Here's one of mine..

Lovely Series One! What's the extra shift stick for just in front of the middle seat? Winch?

Is that an original 80" hardtop with an original tropical roof?

If so I shall go green with envy for a considerable period!

It Certianly is...
Although not needed for the restoration, it will be put away, I've had lots of S1 club members begging for it!

The plan with this 80" is to do a replica of the AA ones that were used in the late 40s early 50s
It's down to a bare chassis now, which is in good shape.
Bulkhead not so good!!

I don't fancy another green one.... Wink 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Awesome! I have been keeping my eye open for a genuine 80" hardtop (withouth finding one) for about 40 years! The end result will be spectacular, I am sure.

I am indeed green with envy! Thumbs Up
