Removable Underseat Sound Reducer
I have a Puma 110 DCPU in basic trim ie no rear coverings beneath the rear seats and washable front trim. I want to do something to improve the sound of water and stones hitting the rear underside of the body but dont really want to stick sound proofing everywhere as I am not installing a carpet over it.

What I am after is some kind of semi tailored removable floor covering that fits beneath the rear seats and maybe extends up underneath the rear windows.

I imagine something like a heavy vinyl waterproof padded blanket with cutouts for the seat brackets thats held down with press studs or the like. Its not really visible so wouldnt have to be a perfect fit.

As anyone ever heard of such a thing?

If not I suppose I could get it easily made up from a pattern but would need some suitable material. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Nick

Sounds like you want mass loaded vinyl. For example eBay item eBay Item No. 151560151880. Cheers, Guy.

I used 1.5mm rubber sheet stuck to the seat base and on the floor (not stuck),and ccf on top of that.Didn't stick the ccf or the rubber to the floor for maintenance reasons. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
