Strange thing is, in my very humble view, is that I can enjoy these two for the price of one new defender that, in my very humble view,are over blinged and way over priced. Each to their own of course . I find it a shame that LR didn't sign off the Defender with a nice auto box soft top with no added external bling which to me doesn't look right I reckon the NAS spec 90 was the best defender ever, smooth engine, auto box, soft top option...perfect....shame we couldn't have that. Class and class, love them both!
I would love to have the guts to pull our 90 to bits and put a full tilt roof on it....but on a day like today when the North and South Tyne have burst their banks and the road are like rivers and water seems to be entering the vehicle from every little pin prick of a hole, I'm a little nervous about removing the roof!
