Was having a look at one yesterday. They certainly appear to be very well made.
They are made modular which looks good. You can buy the outer wings if you bend them. I believe they are available in two thickness of metal. Tim at Trek Overland can give you more informed information so give him a ring Brendan |

I know it's not quite the same but I'll be giving Outbound 4x4 a call tomorrow, they sell these in kit form or ready made bumpers....

I have had this bumper on for a while now and very very pleased with it. It looks amazing but its very well made to. Pretty light compared to for example the Devon bumpers yet very strong. I have tested it out a few times by using it as winch anchor against trees for when my buddies get stuck. If you have an AC vehicle its just a perfect fit, need to cut your grill a bit but it sticks out 10cm less than my TF Tubular AC winch bumper.

Short answer is yes. We can supply the Nakatanenga range of bumpers with Nolden 70mm lights. Various options are available such as 2 or 3 pairs of lights with either fog, driving lights or spot lights. We have their bumpers fitted to our green 110 and our white 90. Will have to take some photos later on ( currently we are relaxing trying to recover after the weekend show before heading back up north!) Will be fitting one of the Nakatanenga winch bumper to the grey 90. There is a big range of quality with the bumper and light units that are available in the UK. Have seen some DRL bumpers which have started to rust within 6 weeks. Also range of quality on the lights, remember they do need to be E marked. When looking at bumpers especially as a standard bumper that has had big holes cut into them, will weaken them. Now on a good quality one they will have a reinforcing plate on the back. Brendan |

I wonder if that price includes the steering guard? If so, it's similar total price. I have to say of your other post, I too like the double DRL option, very smart, certainly far more than the oval/square DRL or those mounted in the grill. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Yes, I agree it does look well made and if it includes the steering guard then that's a bonus, my funds won't stretch to that. I also agree with mikeh501 - the Outbound 4x4 one does look pricey for what it is but suppose it includes 4x lights, a harness and VAT.
I won't hijack this thread though so I'll carry it on in my post here.... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic41948.html |
